Hurd began her career with legendary independent filmmaker Roger Corman before launching one of the most influential producing careers in modern Hollywood.
She co-wrote and produced The Terminator, the groundbreaking 1984 science-fiction film that explored artificial intelligence, time travel, survival, and humanity’s future. She went on to produce Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Armageddon, The Incredible Hulk, Æon Flux, and many other major films.
Her work has consistently combined spectacle with character, technology with imagination, and extraordinary worlds with deeply human stories.
